  • Accidentally broken or damaged appliances

What's not covered

The program covers accidental damage only. It does not cover:

  • Gross negligence or willful destruction of property by the renter and members of their party
  • Pet damage
  • Damage by someone not part of the reservation
  • Damage by the homeowner
  • Damage outside of the booking period
  • Damage to common areas not part of the rented unit

  • Damage to golf carts
  • Normal wear and tear

What an accident actually costs

Small mistakes turn into real repair bills. These are the accidents the program was built for.

The knocked-over lamp

A guest reaches for the light and the lamp goes over. Without protection you're replacing it out of the deposit — if there is one — and arguing about the price. With it, you're reimbursed for the replacement.

The carpet spill

Red wine on a light carpet, or a tear from a dragged suitcase. Professional cleaning or a replacement section is a covered accidental-damage claim, not a conversation with the guest.

The cracked cook-top

Drop a skillet on a glass cook-top and there goes hundreds of dollars. Appliance damage like this is exactly what the coverage limit is for.

There is no deductible

The full amount of the claim is paid up to the coverage limit selected — $1,500 or $3,000.

Special pricing for partners

Registered hosts and property managers save $10 on every plan — $49 for $1,500 of coverage, $69 for $3,000 — and get a faster purchase flow with saved properties.
